The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), formerly the Board of Control for Cricket in Pakistan, is the governing body for cricket in Pakistan. It oversees and organizes all tours and matches for the Pakistan national cricket team. A member of the International Cricket Council since 1952, the PCB represents Pakistan's men's and women's teams in international cricket tournaments.

Waqar Salamkheil of Afghanistan will join Peshawar Zalmi as a partial cover for David Miller.

Salamkheil is in silver category and he is coming in as replacement for David Miller, who will travel to Pakistan on Monday, March 1 after finishing his domestic cricket commitments.

Quetta Gladiators supplementary pick Dale Steyn will miss his side’s first two HBL Pakistan Super League 6 matches due to a family commitment.

The South African fast bowler is expected to reach Karachi on 22 February after which he will be available for the franchise after going through the necessary testing and quarantine.

The Gladiators have brought in young all-rounder Hassan Khan as his partial replacement to the squad, the teams are allowed to make two supplementary round picks at the HBL PSL Draft.

The combination for this can be two local players or one local or foreign player.

Islamabad United’s pacer Akif Javed is recovering from a surgery and will not be available for HBL PSL 6, fast bowler Zeeshan Zameer has been included in the United squad as Akif’s replacement.
