About the role
The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) is seeking a Ticketing Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager – Membership, Ticketing & Customer Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all ticketing servicing, operations and associated activity is delivered and implemented to the highest standard. Additionally, you will assist in providing data-driven insights as required.
Your contributions will be key to achieving our strategic objective to ‘Inspire members and fans’.
Key responsibilities:
Ticketing Operations and Services:
- Collaborate with event organisers and vendors to plan and execute ticketing operations for all event builds in conjunction with relevant Cricket Australia, Ticketek & AOSMA staff in relation to the following:
- BBL
- WBBL
- Sheffield Shield & One Day Cup
- Hospitality ticketing
- SACA Member Guest Passes & Daily Reserved Seating (BBL & International matches)
- Monitor ticket sales, analyse sales data, and provide reports to management, highlighting trends and insights for decision-making.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote events and increase ticket sales.
- Manage SACA ticketing responsibilities under the SACA/ CA new joint venture.
- Act as the key SACA Ticketing contact for Ticketek, Adelaide Oval, Cricket Australia and customer enquiries.
- Utilise best practice to determine stadium category splits, strategies, and pricing models as it relates to both membership and ticket sales.
- Develop, set, and manage event builds including all pricing, product, seating plans, venue configuration and venue maps for matches as determined.
Reporting and Financial Reconciliation:
- Manage ticket sales and attendance reporting/ dashboards including actual vs KPI analysis
- Pre match, at match and post-match attendance reporting
- Monitor budget and exercise cost control, ensuring that budgets are met and costs managed effectively
Other:
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations including MOU and department specific contractual arrangements
- You will hold a valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain one
What we’re looking for…
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- The ability to manage high workloads and meet deadlines within specific time frames
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a membership or ticketing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- The ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and execute strategies
- Demonstrated initiative and innovative thinking
- Superior organisational and planning skills
- You have experience in a Membership or Ticketing role within the sporting industry
- You have experience with Ticketek
