The San Francisco Unicorns have announced a landmark media partnership with NBC Sports Bay Area, NBC Sports California, and Willow by Cricbuzz to broadcast all of their Cognizant Major League Cricket (MLC) 2025 matches live, including three historic home games at the Oakland Coliseum.
Unicorns bring live cricket to the Bay Area in 2025
The Unicorns’ full MLC 2025 campaign will be televised live across the Northern California region through NBC Sports Bay Area and California, with ten matches scheduled for broadcast in partnership with Willow by Cricbuzz, North America’s premier 24/7 live cricket channel and MLC’s official streaming partner.
The broadcast schedule includes the team’s long-anticipated homecoming with three matches at the Oakland Coliseum — the first time professional cricket will be played in the Bay Area — against Washington Freedom (June 12), LA Knight Riders (June 14), and MI New York (June 15).
Accessible live cricket for millions of US fans
The opening match of the season on Thursday, June 12 at 6:00 PM PT sees the Unicorns take on Washington Freedom in a rematch of the 2024 MLC Championship Game. This year’s expanded coverage makes world-class T20 cricket more accessible than ever for Bay Area sports fans.
All broadcasts will be delivered via Willow’s acclaimed platform, offering first-rate production, expert commentary, and multi-platform access for both seasoned cricket fans and newcomers alike.
