Women’s Asia Cup takes centre stage

The broadcast line-up combines former players from women’s international cricket with commentators and presenters working across Sony’s television and streaming coverage. The tournament will also give emerging players from participating teams a continental platform alongside established international names.

Anjum Chopra, former India Women’s Cricket Team Captain, Padma Shri Awardee and ICC Hall of Famer, said in an official statement: “The Women’s Asia Cup is fascinating because every team brings a distinct style and approach to the competition. Alongside established international players, the tournament also provides emerging talent with an opportunity to perform on a major stage. I look forward to analysing these different styles and the finer aspects of the game for viewers on Sony Sports Network and Sony LIV. “

Sony Sports Network and Sony LIV will begin their ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2026 coverage on August 28, with the tournament continuing through September 13.
