Sony Sports Network has secured the television broadcast rights for the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) home cricket series and the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL). This agreement grants Sony exclusive rights in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, and Myanmar, while the rights remain non-exclusive in Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka.
The deal covers all home bilateral series, a tri-nation tournament, 34 PSL matches in 2025, and archival content, including historic Pakistan vs. India encounters. The partnership commenced with the recently held tri-nation ODI series featuring Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa.
Sony Sports Network continues to strengthen its cricket portfolio, already holding broadcast rights for major cricketing bodies such as New Zealand Cricket, the England and Wales Cricket Board, Sri Lanka Cricket, and the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The network aims to further enhance its cricket offerings with extensive live coverage in 2025.
Highlighting Sony’s commitment to delivering top-tier cricket, Rajesh Kaul, Chief Revenue Officer – Distribution and International Business and Head – Sports Business, Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN), stated:

Through this deal, we also have access to great archival content that includes Pakistan vs India matches that we will also showcase on our network. The acquisition of the Pakistan Cricket Board rights along with New Zealand Cricket, England and Wales Cricket Board, Sri Lanka Cricket and the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) positions us as the premier destination for cricket in India.”
As part of the broadcast schedule, Sony Sports Network will air several key series and tournaments:
- Pakistan Super League (April – May) – 34 matches
- Pakistan vs. Bangladesh (May) – 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is
- Pakistan vs. Afghanistan (August) – 3 T20Is
- Pakistan vs. Ireland (September) – 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is
- Pakistan vs. South Africa (October) – 2 Tests, 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is
- Pakistan vs. Sri Lanka (November) – 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is
