Welsh Fire strengthen commercial platform with four new partnerships spanning technology, betting, lifestyle and social impact

Welsh Fire have added Infinite Computer Solutions, Matchbook, YETI and Admiral to their commercial roster during the 2026 Hundred season, reflecting a deliberate strategy to diversify revenue streams and deliver broader value beyond the boundary.

Welsh Fire have used the 2026 season of The Hundred to significantly expand their commercial footprint, announcing four new partnerships that collectively span front-of-shirt sponsorship, sleeve branding, lifestyle products and a purpose-driven social impact initiative. The agreements reflect a franchise that is pursuing commercial growth on multiple fronts simultaneously, building a sponsor portfolio that combines globally recognised consumer brands with partners whose objectives extend well beyond conventional advertising.

Infinite Computer Solutions take front-of-shirt position

The most prominent of the four announcements is the arrival of Infinite Computer Solutions as Welsh Fire‘s front-of-shirt partner for the 2026 season, with the technology company’s branding appearing on the playing shirts of both the men’s and women’s squads throughout the competition. Infinite is a global technology business specialising in artificial intelligence, digital transformation and next-generation IT services, operating across more than two decades of work with organisations seeking to modernise their digital infrastructure.

Ed Rice, Chief Commercial Officer of Welsh Fire, said in an official statement: “We’re thrilled to welcome Infinite Computer Solutions as our new front-of-shirt partner at a hugely exciting moment for Welsh Fire.” Rice added: “Welsh Fire is building real momentum both on and off the field, and bringing in a partner of Infinite’s calibre reflects the ambition we have for the season ahead.” He continued: “With a refreshed squad, big fixtures at Sophia Gardens and a growing connection with our supporters, this is the perfect time to launch a partnership that will help drive the franchise forward.”

Sanjay Govil, Chairman of the Board at Infinite Computer Solutions, said in an official statement: “We are delighted to partner with Welsh Fire for the 2026 season and support one of the most exciting teams in The Hundred.” Govil added: “This partnership reinforces our belief in nurturing and supporting cricket, especially women’s cricket and reflects our commitment to innovation, excellence and continuous growth, values that are central to both organisations.” He noted: “We look forward to supporting Welsh Fire throughout the season and engaging with supporters, partners and communities across Wales and beyond.”

Supporters who purchased their 2026 Welsh Fire playing shirt online ahead of the announcement will be able to have the Infinite logo applied free of charge at Sophia Gardens on any Welsh Fire matchday during the season.

Matchbook secured as sleeve partner across both competitions

Welsh Fire have also confirmed Matchbook, an online sports betting peer-to-peer exchange, as their sleeve partner for the 2026 season, with the brand appearing on the sleeves of both the men’s and women’s playing shirts throughout The Hundred. The agreement also covers fan activations, player access opportunities and social-first content designed to bring supporters closer to the competition.

Rice said in an official statement: “We’re delighted to welcome Matchbook as our Official Sleeve Partner for the 2026 season.” He added: “Matchbook has built a strong reputation through innovation and customer engagement, and we’re excited to work together to create meaningful moments for fans throughout the season.” Rice noted: “This partnership represents another significant step forward for Welsh Fire as we continue to grow the Club’s commercial platform and strengthen relationships with leading brands that share our vision for the future.”

Ronan McDonagh, Chief Executive Officer of Matchbook, said in an official statement: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Welsh Fire ahead of what promises to be another exciting season of The Hundred.” McDonagh added: “Cricket has one of the most passionate and knowledgeable fanbases in world sport, and Welsh Fire is an ambitious club with a growing profile.” He continued: “As The Hundred continues to attract audiences both in the UK and internationally, we’re looking forward to creating engaging content, fan experiences and activations that bring supporters closer to the game throughout the season.”

YETI joins as lifestyle and hydration partner

Premium outdoor lifestyle brand YETI has come on board to supply drinkware and hydration products to both Welsh Fire squads across the season, with the partnership also incorporating matchday activations and fan engagement at Sophia Gardens. The agreement aligns YETI with a high-performance sporting environment as the brand continues to expand its presence in elite sport.

Ian Davis, Head of Partnerships at Welsh Fire, said in an official statement: “We’re delighted to have YETI supporting Welsh Fire this season.” Davis added: “YETI’s reputation for quality and innovation makes them a fantastic addition as we continue to grow our fanbase and deliver an exceptional matchday experience.”

Admiral partnership targets career pathways for women

The fourth agreement differs in character from the others, centering on social impact rather than brand visibility. Welsh Fire have partnered with Welsh insurer Admiral to create career pathways for women through mentoring programmes, networking opportunities, leadership workshops and professional development initiatives connecting the franchise’s athletes with Admiral employees and aspiring professionals across industries where women remain underrepresented.

Ed Rice, Commercial Director at Glamorgan Cricket, said in an official statement: “Women’s cricket has shown what can happen when organisations invest in opportunity, visibility and pathways for talent.” Rice added: “The challenges may be different, but there are clear parallels with the automotive industry. By bringing sport and business together, we can share ideas, learn from one another and help create environments where more women can succeed.”

Michelle Leavesley, Chief Sustainability Officer at Admiral Group, said in an official statement: “Through this partnership, we can learn from the growth of women’s cricket and apply those insights across our supply chain.” Leavesley added: “While cricket and garages may seem very different, we’ve identified similarities in areas such as recruitment, leadership and creating inclusive environments that are helping to shape future programmes.” She continued: “Together, we want to help more women see a future in traditionally underrepresented careers, creating pathways into skills, employment and leadership that benefit individuals, businesses and communities for years to come.”

The Admiral collaboration reflects a broader shift in sports sponsorship, with brands increasingly seeking partnerships capable of delivering measurable social value alongside commercial returns. For Welsh Fire, it also reinforces the growing commercial and cultural significance of the women’s game within the franchise’s overall identity.

Commercial growth runs alongside promising on-field form

The four partnerships have been announced as Welsh Fire enjoy an encouraging start to the 2026 competition. The men’s side opened their campaign with back-to-back wins, while the women’s team recovered from a defeat in their opening fixture to post a 60-run victory in their second match. The squad features men’s Captain Phil Salt alongside Joe Root, Rachin Ravindra and Ben Kellaway, while the women’s side is led by Captain Sophie Devine, supported by Freya Kemp and Sophia Smale. With home fixtures at Sophia Gardens still to come against Trent Rockets, Birmingham Phoenix and Southern Brave, Welsh Fire enter the middle phase of the competition with momentum building across both competitions and a commercial platform that has grown considerably since the season began.
