Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan appreciated Karachi Kings’ owner, Mr. Salman Iqbal, for his effort in bringing the Pakistan Super League (PSL) to the home country.

Mr. Salman along with his team management including head coach Dean Jones and president Wasim Akram met the former cricketer at Prime Minister House on Tuesday. PSL 5 in Pakistan was the topic that remained on top of the discussion among the high-ups.

“It is exciting to see the whole PSL is happening in Pakistan. It is portraying a strong image of the country in front of the world,” former cricket said. “You [Mr. Salman] have played an important role in this journey of bringing the entire league to its home,” Khan praised Kings’ owner.

It must be noted here Kings have won two consecutive matches to gain the third position on PSL 5 points table. They have won three out of five matches they have played so far in this edition of the league.
