The Pakistan cricket team practiced at Old Trafford on Sunday for the first ICC World Test Championship fixture against England, which will start on Wednesday, 5 August.

The following is the schedule of Pakistan’s training sessions and media conferences for the first Test. The respected members of the Pakistan media are strongly advised to carefully read and follow the guidelines to avoid any last-minute inconveniences.

Monday, 3 August

At 1300 PST (0900 BST)), Pakistan head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq will hold a virtual media conference for the Pakistan media. Due to limited time and space, the Pakistan media interested in attending the session are requested to confirm their attendance to Emmad Hameed at Emmad.Ahmed@pcb.com.pk, at least, two hours before the start of the session so that he can share the link.

At 1340 PST (0940 BST), Pakistan head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq will hold a virtual media conference for the England media. Interested England media are requested to confirm their attendance to England men’s national cricket team Head of Communications, Danny Reuben, at Danny.Reuben@ecb.co.uk

The Pakistan men’s national cricket team will train at Old Trafford from 1400 PST (1000 BST). The PCB will provide videos and photos for editorial purposes only. At 1500 PST (1100 BST), England all-rounder Chris Woakes will hold his virtual media conference. Pakistan media interested in attending this session are advised to write to England men’s national cricket team Head of Communication, Danny Reuben, at Danny.Reuben@ecb.co.uk.

Tuesday, 4 August

At 1500 PST (1100 BST), Pakistan captain Azhar Ali will hold his virtual media conference for the Pakistan media. Due to limited time and space, the Pakistan media interested in attending the session are requested to confirm their attendance to Emmad Hameed at Emmad.Ahmed@pcb.com.pk, at least, two hours before the start session so that he can share the link. One representative per media outlet will be invited for the session.

Wednesday, 5 August

The toss is scheduled to take place at 1430 PST (1030 BST), with the first ball bowled at 1500 PST (11 BST). After the day’s play, there will be post-day’s play media conferences.

Pakistan and England media interested in attending Pakistan’s online session is advised to confirm their attendance in writing to Emmad Hameed at Emmad.Ahmed@pcb.com.pk, who will confirm the link shortly before the start of the session.

Thursday, 6 August until the end of the Test

Play is scheduled to start at 1500 PST (1100 BST). After the end of the day’s play or match, there will be media conferences.

Team’s schedule of activities will be shared after the team has arrived in Southampton, where the second Test will commence from Thursday, 13 August.
