Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is pleased to announce more partners for the 2020 event. Turbo join as Official Energy Drink, Oasis as Official Water, Lifebuoy as Official Hygiene Partner, Degree as Official Deodorant and Rainforest Seafoods as Official Protein.

Dr Tara Wilkinson-McLean, Sponsorship Manager, said: “We are delighted to welcome these new sponsors to the Hero CPL family and pleased to welcome back Rainforest Seafoods. Hydration, hygiene and nutritious food are very important to a successful event in the bio-bubble, and we thank all of these great brands for their support.”

The Hero CPL is taking place in Trinidad at two venues and is being played behind closed doors as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The final will take place on 10 September at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba.

ABOUT THE HERO CARIBBEAN PREMIER LEAGUE:

First started in 2013, the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is a franchise-based T20 format cricket tournament that combines two of the most compelling aspects of Caribbean life – dramatic cricket and a vibrant Carnival atmosphere. There was a combined broadcast and digital viewership of 312million during the 2019 season to make it one of the fastest growing leagues in world cricket. In 2019 the tournament made a positive economic impact across the Caribbean of US$136million. Barbados Tridents are the current Hero CPL champions and the other competing teams are Trinbago Knight Riders, Guyana Amazon Warriors, St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots, St. Lucia Zouks and Jamaica Tallawahs. The 2020 tournament is taking place in Trinidad & Tobago between 18 August and 10 September. For further information visit www.cplt20.com
