The Ministry of Health of Afghanistan today granted approval for the attendance of crowds albeit at a reduced capacity (30%) during the upcoming Shpageeza Cricket League matches at Kabul Cricket Stadium. In a document sent by the ministry to ACB, it has also directed the latter to make sure all the relevant SOPs and health guidelines are followed to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 during the tournament.

According to the guidelines issued, ACB has to make sure the spectators maintain a distance of at least two meters and watch the match at an open space in the stands. The guidelines also state that the spectators wear masks which shall be provided to them by ACB.

The health guidelines also state further that the ACB ensure all the players, support staff and others who are part of the league test negative for COVID-19 ahead of the matches.
