An all-round performance from young Azmatullah Omarzai and a terrific knock from Noor Ali Zadran ensured Ayobi Kabul Eagles become the first team to qualify for the Final of Etisalat 4G Shpageeza Cricket League beating Hazrat Ltd. Mis-e Ainak Knights by 4 wickets in the first qualifier.

Azmatullah bowled an economic spell and scored 62 in the high-scoring game to take Ayobi Kabul Eagles home successfully in the final over the chase. He and Noor Ali Zadran, who also notched a brilliant knock of 85, put on a match-winning 97-run stand after the Eagles lost four early wickets. Earlier, the Eagles’ skipper opted to field first after winning the toss.

Hashmatullah Shahidi and Mohammad Shahzad played exciting knocks for the Knights as the former fell short just by 3 runs of a terrific century while the latter entertained with a blistering 40. The Knights eventually set their second target over 200 in the tournament ending on 208/3.

The Knights will face the winner of the Eliminator between DG Bost Defenders and DFI Band-e Amir Dragons while The Kabul Eagles will be up against the winner of the second qualifier on 16th September in the Final of the Etisalat 4G Shpageeza Cricket League.
