With the click of a computer button, new-born Layla Ferguson’s ‘family’ expanded to the size of an army.

Layla, who was born in July, is the pride and joy of loving dad Callum, Sydney Thunder’s inspirational skipper.

And with the milestone 10th season of the KFC Big Bash League fast approaching, Callum and his wife Rhiannon have wasted no time in ensuring little Layla’s place in the Thunder Nation by signing her to a membership.

“Sydney Thunder means a lot to Rhiannon and me,” said Callum, after finishing a gruelling training session.

“When I joined Sydney Thunder everyone made Rhiannon and I feel very welcome… that made a huge impression on us… and that’s meant the club is very important to us.

“The way we’ve been treated by the people involved with Thunder has definitely made us feel as though it’s our second family.

“And Rhiannon and I thought there was no better way for Layla to become a part of that family than by signing her on as a Member.”

Thunder has moved towards all-new non-ticketed packages this season, giving Members access to a host of awesome benefits and discounts.

Thunder Members will enjoy an added bonus this summer of gaining free entry to crowd-friendly Thunder WBBL matches to cheer on skipper Rachael Haynes and a host of star players including England’s dynamic duo of Heather Knight and Tammy Beaumont, South Africa’s pace bowler Shabnim Ismail, and emerging champions Hannah Darlington and Phoebe Litchfield.
