Pakistan men’s national cricket team will begin their ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League campaign from 30 October when they will host Zimbabwe in the first of the three ODIs at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi.
Zimbabwe will arrive in Islamabad on Tuesday, 20 October, following which they will undergo Covid-19 tests. Upon returning negative results, they will observe a seven-day isolation period during which they will hold closed training sessions at the Army Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi.
In the lead-up to the ODI series, Pakistan will undergo a training camp at the Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, from 22 October before they move to Islamabad on 26 October.

Tuesday, 20 October:
Zimbabwe cricket team arrives in Islamabad. PCB will provide photographs and video clips.
Wednesday, 21 October:
Zimbabwe will hold a training session from 10.30am (PST). At 2.30pm (PST), a member of the touring party will hold a virtual media conference.
Local media interested in covering the session are requested to confirm their attendance to Ibrahim Badees (03040978327), at least, two hours before the start of the session. One representative per media outlet will be invited for the session.
Foreign media interested in attending the session are advised to contact Darlington Majonga via email or through his whatsapp number.
Thursday, 22 October:
Zimbabwe will hold a training session from 10.30am (PST), while Pakistan will practice at the Gaddafi Stadium from 4pm (PST). At 2pm (PST), a member of the Pakistan squad member will hold a virtual media conference.
Media interested in covering the online session are requested to confirm their attendance to Raza Kitchlew (03018440280), at least, two hours before the start of the session. One representative per media outlet will be invited for the session.
Friday, 23 October:
Zimbabwe will hold a training session from 10.30am (PST), while Pakistan will play an intra-squad practice match at the Gaddafi Stadium from 12pm (PST). No media conferences are planned.
Saturday, 24 October:
Zimbabwe will hold a training session from 10.30am (PST), while Pakistan will have a rest day. However, a member of the Pakistan squad will hold a virtual media conference at 12.30pm (PST).
Media interested in covering the session are requested to confirm their attendance to Raza Kitchlew (03018440280), at least, two hours before the start of the session. One representative per media outlet will be invited for the session.
Sunday, 25 October:
Zimbabwe will hold a training session from 10.30am (PST), while Pakistan will play an intra-squad practice match at the Gaddafi Stadium from 12pm (PST). No media conferences are planned.
Monday, 26 October:
Pakistan and Zimbabwe move to Islamabad and have no practice and media commitments.
Tuesday, 27 October:
Both teams will hold training sessions at the Pindi Cricket Stadium from 1pm (PST). Beforehand, both the sides will hold online press conferences.
A member of the Pakistan team will be available at 11.15am (PST), while a Zimbabwe team player will be available at around 11.45am, (PST). Interested local and foreign media are advised to confirm their attendance to Raza Kitchlew (03018440280) and Darlington Majonga, respectively, at least, two hours before the start of the sessions.
Wednesday, 28 October:
Both teams will hold training sessions at the Pindi Cricket Stadium from 4pm (PST) and have no media interactions planned.
Thursday, 29 October:
The two teams will hold training sessions at the Pindi Cricket Stadium from 1pm. Beforehand, at around 12.30pm (PST) and 12.45pm (PST), opposite captains Chamu Chibhabha and Babar Azam will hold their respective online press conferences.
Interested local and foreign media are advised to confirm their attendance to Darlington Majonga and Raza Rashid Kitchlew (03018440280), respectively, at least, two hours before the start of the sessions.
Friday, 30 October:
Toss for the first ODI between Pakistan and Zimbabwe at the Pindi Cricket Stadium will take place at 11.30am (PST), while the first ball will be bowled at 12pm (PST). Afterwards, star performers from either side will hold virtual media conferences. Interest foreign and local media are advised to confirm their attendance to Darlington Majonga and Raza Rashid Kitchlew (03018440280), respectively, at least, two hours before the start of the sessions.

Covid-19 guidelines for media covering the matches:
- To ensure health and safety of the media as well as their colleagues and family members, the PCB will only provide running tea, coffee, water and fruits. However, the respected members of the media are strongly encouraged to bring their own food, drinks and cutlery
- No in-person media-player interaction is allowed in the team hotel, training and match venues
- If you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms, please don’t attempt to arrive at the venue to cover the match
- Upon arrival, there will be thermal temperature checking
- Please always ensure two-metre social distancing and wear masks at all times when at the venue
- Accredited media is strongly advised to avoid gatherings when at the venue
- On non-match days, photographers and camerapersons will be accommodated in the public enclosures on the either side of the media centre. However, they are strictly prohibited from picking or touching the cricket ball when at the venue
