PCB: HBL PSL 2020 – Training, media conferences schedule and important information

The playoffs and the final of the HBL Pakistan Super League 2020 will be played at the National Stadium, Karachi, from 14-17 November. Prior to the four fixtures, the four sides will hold training sessions and virtual media sessions in accordance with the Covid-19 protocols.

In line with the PCB Covid-19 Protocols, respected members of the media will only be allowed to cover training sessions and matches at the National Stadium.

The PCB will arrange pre- and post-match virtual media conferences, which will be provided via WeTransferafter their completion for editorial use only.

The following is the training and media conferences schedule, which is subject to last minute changes. The media is requested to contact team media managers for updates.

Tuesday, 10 November:

Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans will hold training sessions at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre from 12.30pm; Lahore Qalandars will hold a practice session at the National Stadium from 6pm and Peshawar Zalmi will to play an inter-squad practice match at the Moin Khan Academy from 7.30pm.

Wednesday, 11 November:

Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi will play a practice match at the National Stadium from 5.15pm, while

Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars will play a practice match at the Moin Khan Academy, which will commence at 6.45pm.

Thursday, 12 November:

Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi captains will hold virtual media conferences at 11.30am before their sides will feature in a practice match at the National Stadium. The PCB will provide a Zoom link half an hour before the start of the pressers.

At 6.45pm at the Moin Khan Academy, Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi will play a practice match.

Friday, 13 November:

Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans captain will hold virtual media conferences at 11.30am onwards. The PCB will provide a Zoom link half an hour before the start of the pressers. Afterwards, Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans will hold practice sessions at 1.30pm, while Lahore Qalandars will practice at 7pm. All training sessions will be held at the National Stadium and Hanif Mohammad High Performance Center.

Saturday, 14 November:

The toss for the Qualifier between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings will take place at 2.30pm, while the first ball of the match will be delivered at 3pm.  At the completion of the match, a squad member from both sides will hold virtual media conferences.

At 7.30pm, the toss for the first Eliminator between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi will take place and the first ball of the match will be bowled at 8pm, which will be followed by virtual media conferences.

Sunday, 15 November:

The toss for the second Eliminator between the losing team of the Qualifier and the winning team of the first Eliminator will take place at 7.30pm, while the first ball of the match will be bowled at 8pm. At the completion of the match, a squad member from both sides will hold virtual media conferences.

Monday, 16 November:

The captains of the two finalist sides will hold pre-match virtual media conferences at around 3pm onwards. For more information, please contact the team media managers.  Afterwards at around 7pm, the two sides will hold training sessions at the National Stadium.

Tuesday, 17 November:

The toss for the final of the HBL PSL 2020 will take place at 7.30pm and the first ball will be bowled at 8pm.  After the final, there will be virtual media conferences.

This schedule is subject to any last minute changes. The respected media personnel are requested to contact team media managers for updates.
