The Sydney Sixers continue to humm along off the field following last season’s second straight KFC BBL title with the expansion of another corporate partnership.

Humm, the bigger buy now, pay later service, joined the glamour club for the first time last summer as the Principal Partner of the star-studded WBBL team and this season and next will upgrade that partnership to now include the BBL team.

The humm branding will be prominent on the BBL uniform this season, appearing on players’ shirt sleeve, cap and helmet, while remaining on the front and back of the club’s WBBL playing shirt.

To launch the broader partnership, humm have created a Snapchat game that will give fans the opportunity to be the first to wear the new Nike WBBL jersey. Click HERE to play the game now.

Rebecca James, Chief Executive Officer of hummgroup said:

“We’re so excited to be back with the Sydney Sixers this season and can’t wait to connect with all the fans who enjoy this spectacular sporting format.

“Our customers love using our big-hitting BNPL, humm, to make purchases up to $30,000, and we know they love watching the equally big hits in the mighty big bash league.

“We have been so proud to be associated with the growth of the WBBL, which has vastly increased interest in the women’s format of the game, something I’m particularly excited about. We are delighted to continue to support the team, as well as add the BBL to our core sponsorship this year, sharing the humm spirit right across the Sixers community.”

Ben Hirschfeld, Cricket NSW General Manager – Commercial Experience said the success of the partnership in its initial year and the appeal of working alongside the Sixers’ league leading BBL team made sense for both organisations.

“Humm made a BIG splash when they joined us last season, and we’re really pleased to be able to grow the partnership to now sit across both our BBL and WBBL teams,” Hirschfeld said.

“They’re an exciting, progressive brand to work with and we hope all of our fans will enjoy getting behind the humm Snapchat game and have a bit of fun playing it with mates, whilst also being amongst the first to try on our new WBBL kit”.

The season kicks off with the WBBL in October. The Sixers play their first match against the Melbourne Stars on Thursday 14 October. The BBL season starts at the SCG on Sunday 5 December when the two-time defending champions host the Stars.
