The Melbourne Renegades are pleased to welcome RACV Solar to the team for the upcoming Women’s Big Bash League season as the Official WBBL Major Partner.

RACV Solar has been helping Victorian homes and businesses save on power bills for over a decade while building a more sustainable future.

RACV Solar’s experienced team has designed and installed thousands of quality solar and battery solutions for Victorians.

It is installing free solar and battery systems across several community sites in regional Victoria to help with energy resilience as part of RACV’s Solar in the Regions program.

RACV Solar CEO, Andy McCarthy, sees the partnership as a great alignment and is thrilled to partner with the Melbourne Renegades.

“We are excited to partner with the Melbourne Renegades because we both have roots in Victoria but also because we believe in raising the bar when it comes to gender balance and diversity,” Mr McCarthy said.

“Partnering with the Melbourne Renegades is a fantastic way for RACV Solar to support this amazing team, and we now have the opportunity to be part of the WBBL sporting community.”

The RACV Solar logo will feature on the chest of the Renegades’ WBBL playing shirts and LED signage at games throughout the WBBL|07 season.

“We’re thrilled to have RACV Solar come on board as our official WBBL major partner,” Melbourne Renegades General Manager, James Rosengarten, said.

“There is a natural connection between the Renegades and RACV Solar. Much like us, RACV Solar is a proud Victorian brand on the rise with strong values and community connection.

“As a club, we are committed to providing a great environment for our elite women’s players to be able to compete, develop and enjoy their cricket. We also understand the critical role they play in inspiring the next generation of cricketers through the WBBL.

“It’s great to have RACV Solar identify with these values and pledge their support to our team for this next chapter, which we’re all really excited about.”

The WBBL|07 season begins this week, with the Melbourne Renegades taking on the Hobart Hurricanes at Blundstone Arena on Saturday.
