Sydney Sixers lock in WBBL shirt numbers

The Sydney Sixers have confirmed the shirt numbers of their six new recruits ahead of the Weber WBBL|07 season opener on Thursday night.

Experienced all-rounder Nicole Bolton will retain her former Perth Scorchers number 12, while fast bowler Maitlan Brown will take number 88 after wearing number 77 for the Melbourne Renegades.

Indian stars Shafali Verma and Radha Yadav will rep their national numbers, 17 and 21, while young gun Matilda Lugg will inherit number 3 from retired club legend Sarah Aley.

Claire Moore, who joined the Sixers as a Local Replacement Player for injured all-rounder Hayley Silver-Holmes, will wear number 85, and teenage leg-spinner Jade Allen will wear number 9.
