Sindh have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate in their fixture against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the State Bank Stadium in the seventh round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2021-22.

Sindh were found six overs short of their target after taking into account time allowances and, as such, were charged under Article 2.22 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which deals with the minimum over-rate offences.

As such, all members of the playing XI were fined PKR72,000. Sindh captain Asad Shafiq accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Iftikhar Ahmed. The charges were levelled by on-field umpires Imtiaz Iqbal and Waleed Yaqub.
