Client Liaison will make their Big Bash League debut in ‘The Derby’ at Marvel Stadium on January 13.

The Melbourne indie-pop duo will bring their unique sound to the Renegades’ final home game of the BBL|11 regular season.

Vocalist Monte Morgan and keyboardist/producer Harvey Miller will be joined by their band on the big stage at the innings break of the match.

“We grew up playing backyard cricket over summer and can’t wait to channel the spirit of this great Australian past time into our performance,” Client Liaison said.

“We’re looking forward to stepping on the turf and smashing some metaphorical boundaries.”

Having cemented themselves as festival favourites and performing to sold out crowds on their 2019 ‘The Real Thing National Tour’, Client Liaison launched a new album, Divine Intervention, in October.

It features 14 tracks, including ‘The Real Thing’, ‘The Beat Supreme’, ‘Champagne Affection’, ‘Intervention’ as well as new single ‘House of Holy’.

“We’re thrilled to have Client Liaison joining us at Marvel Stadium for The Derby,” Melbourne Renegades General Manager, James Rosengarten, said.

“We want to provide great entertainment and at-match experiences for our fans. When you combine an action-packed night at the cricket with live music in the middle of summer in Melbourne, this is an event you won’t want to miss.”
