Bio
Richard Holdsworth was appointed High Performance Director by Cricket Ireland in November 2011.
Previously, Holdsworth held the role of the ICC Europe Regional Development Manager for 8 years. In addition, he served as Communications Officer at England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and as Cricket Development Manager at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.
As a cricketer, Holdsworth played a handful of Second XI championship matches with Gloucestershire CCC.
Holdsworth has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Recreation Studies from the University of Gloucestershire, 1989-1992.
