Tickets will go on sale for every Weber WBBL|08 and KFC BBL|12 match today, with entry-level prices remaining unmoved from pre-pandemic rates at all ticketed venues.

Big Bash matches are summer’s best fun, family entertainment events, with colour, music and dancing in the stands and world class cricket on the field

Fan friendly schedules for both competitions have been backed up by a focus on affordability, making Big Bash matches accessible to first time and returning supporters around the country.

Tickets will progressively go on sale today for all Weber WBBL|08 and KFC BBL|12 matches at the following times today. All tickets and specific pricing information can be accessed via cricket.com.au/big-bash or by searching ‘Big Bash tickets’.

  • 1:00pm AEST: All venues in South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria on sale.
  • 2:00pm AEST: All venues in Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia on sale.

The Weber WBL|08 season begins on Thursday, October 13, while the KFC BBL|12 season begins on Tuesday, December 13.

Alistair Dobson, Cricket Australia’s General Manager, Big Bash Leagues, said:

“One of the Big Bash’s founding principles was providing affordable entertainment options to families over summer. We’re proud to continue playing our role in this as we release tickets to the public for the upcoming Weber WBBL|12 and KFC BBL|12 seasons.

“The League and all clubs are conscious of the pressures on families and the wider community at present. As we encourage all fans to return to the Big Bash following covid-impacted seasons, we have focused on ensuring our events remain high quality on and off the field, while remaining affordable for all.

“Every team will play their full allocation of seven home matches in KFC BBL|12, while the Weber WBBL|08 schedule returns to a fully national footprint for the first time in three years.

“Additionally, the quality on-field will be second to none. The stars of Australia’s Commonwealth Games gold medal-winning side will be on show in the WBBL, while the BBL will feature a number of Australian players and global stars recruited via next week’s Draft.

“We can’t wait to see our fans in stadiums around the country enjoying the very best of the Big Bash this summer.”

Fans are encouraged to stay up to date with the latest information on the Weber WBBL|08 and KFC BBL|12 seasons, including tickets and, memberships and the Draft via our website and the Australian Cricket Family. Not already an ACF member? Sign up here.
