ECB: Former and current players reprimanded by CDC over non-recent social media posts

The Cricket Discipline Commission (CDC) has published its decision in relation to charges brought against a current and a former player regarding non-recent social media posts.

Alex Hales and Ateeq Javid admitted their breach of ECB Directive 3.3 which states: “No such person may conduct himself in a manner or do any act or omission which may be prejudicial to the interests of cricket or which may bring the game of cricket or any Cricketer or group of Cricketers into disrepute.’’

The CDC Adjudicator, Chris Tickle, has imposed a reprimand on Mr Hales and Mr Javid. The CDC decisions are available to view below:
