Australian wicketkeeper batter Matthew Wade, who is set to represent Karachi Kings in the upcoming eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), has landed in the country for the marquee event.

Foreign players continued to arrive in Pakistan in a bid to play for their respective franchises with the much anticipated PSL 8 just around the corner.

Meanwhile, Australian wicketkeeper batter Wade landed at Jinnah International Airport here on Sunday morning and will represent the 2020 PSL champions Kings in the upcoming edition of the league.

Taking to Twitter, the most-followed franchise of PSL Karachi Kings, shared a picture of Wade’s arrival in the city.

“Good Morning Karachi from Matthew Wade. He’s here! Let’s welcome him!” wrote Kings.

It is pertinent to mention here that PSL season 8 will kick off on February 13 in Multan with a grand ceremony followed by the opening match between defending champions Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans.

Karachi Kings, on the other hand, will play their first match on February 14 against Babar Azam-led Peshawar Zalmi at National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi.
