Sporting equipment manufacturer Kookaburra has become the new Naming Rights Partner of the South Australian Cricket Association Premier Cricket Women’s Competition.

Kookaburra will also be the Naming Rights Partner of SACA Premier Cricket’s Junior Competitions.

SACA and Kookaburra have already enjoyed a fruitful partnership, with Kookaburra currently SACA’s Official Ball and Equipment Sponsor.

This new, multi-year extension further highlights Kookaburra’s commitment to grassroots cricket in South Australia.

SACA Premier Cricket Manager Joel Cross said having Kookaburra come on board as Naming Rights Partner for the Women’s and Junior competitions is really important for SACA Premier Cricket.

“SACA is excited to extend our partnership with Kookaburra and we appreciate their support of junior and women’s cricket in South Australia,” Cross said.

“Having a brand such a Kookaburra aligned to the Premier Cricket competition is massive and it will allow us to continue to grow and promote the competitions and further establish the Premier Cricket pathway.

“We can’t wait to get the Kookaburra Women’s and Junior Competitions away in October and look forward to seeing the partnership flourish.”

The Kookaburra Women’s Competition will get underway with the T20’s on Sunday, October 8, while the Kookaburra Junior Boys will begin on Saturday, October 14.
