The South Australian Cricket Association are delighted to announce that THINK! Road Safety have signed on to become the Principal Partner of the SA Scorpions and an Official Partner of the Adelaide Strikers WBBL side.
A Government initiative aimed at helping drivers, cyclists and pedestrians think about their behaviours and actions when on the road, THINK! Road Safety have been involved in South Australian sport for several years, with the Scorpions Principal Partner agreement the first to see their logo on the front of a State team shirt.
With their logo also appearing on the reigning WBBL champions sleeve, SACA are thrilled to begin such an exciting partnership with THINK! Road Safety and look forward to a long and positive association.
As part of the partnership, players will take part in an education session focusing on the importance of driver safety and how we can all take simple steps to ensure we create safer roads across South Australia and beyond.
Minister for Police, Emergency Services and Correctional Services Joe Szakacs is delighted with the partnership.
“I’m incredibly excited about this new partnership which will help promote crucial road safety messaging across the state and nation,” Minister Szakacs said.
“By partnering with the Women’s National Cricket League, we can get thousands of spectators and fans to think about their behaviour while on the road.
“We know that road trauma reaches deep into the community, so I hope this partnership and branding opportunity promotes a proactive discussion about road awareness and road safety.”
SACA Head of Commercial Sam Elliott is looking forward to the benefits the partnership will bring not just to SACA and THINK! Road Safety, but also the South Australian community.
