The draft order stands firm: Quetta Gladiators secure the coveted first pick in the Player Draft.
Following closely, Karachi Kings, a dominant force in the league, secures the second pick, while two-time champions Islamabad United secure the third position.
Peshawar Zalmi and last season’s runners-up Multan Sultans secure the fourth and fifth picks respectively, with Lahore Qalandars, winners of the past two editions, concluding the first round with the sixth pick.
Subsequently, Karachi Kings will have the fifth and fourth picks in the Platinum category rounds.
Adhering to the inverse order of the previous season’s standings, Karachi Kings strategically positions itself to optimize the draft process.
In a fair distribution, each franchise occupies the first pick in the first round of different categories. Karachi Kings will claim the coveted first Diamond pick, forming a calculated strategy for a robust squad.
Following this, in rounds two and three, the Kings will secure the fourth and fifth picks, respectively.
The Gold category presents Karachi Kings with the sixth, third, and second picks, while in the Silver category, the team secures the second, third, sixth, fourth, and third picks.
In the Emerging category, Kings will have the sixth and first picks, and in the Supplementary category, they secure the sixth and fifth positions.
