Sydney Thunder pace bowler, Nathan McAndrew, has extended his contract with the club for another two years.

The quick joined Sydney Thunder in BBL|06, debuting against rivals, Sydney Sixers back in 2016.

Since then, McAndrew has amassed 50 wickets, 260 career runs and bowled over 180 overs in a Thunder shirt.

He’s spent his entire Big Bash career with the Western Sydney side and that will continue for the next two years.

Head of Sydney Thunder, Andrew Gilchrist, said: “We’re incredibly happy to have locked ‘Macca’ [Nathan McAndrew] in for another two years.

“His skill and dedication to the team cannot be understated. He’s grown into a senior player on and off the field, leading by example every time he pulls on the Thunder shirt.

“The club are excited about his extension here and look forward to seeing what he do over next couple of years.”
