CSA: North West Cricket (NWC) suspends Dragons Men’s head coach

North West Cricket (NWC) has, with immediate effect, suspended the duties of its Head Coach of the Dragons Men’s Team, Mr Monty Jacobs, pending the outcome of an independent investigation.

Mr Craig Alexander, currently employed by the NWC as assistant coach, has been tasked to act as interim head coach until the investigation process has been concluded.

An independent lawyer has been appointed to lead the enquiry, which will also shed more light to what the main accusations against Mr Jacobs entails. NWC has been advised not to comment further on any speculations.

Therefore, NWC or any of its staff, players, and management will not make any further statements until the process has been concluded.

A full media statement will be released as soon as the findings and possible actions, if any should arise, are known.
