The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) expressed profound grief and sorrow at the passing of former India cricketer and left-arm spinner, Dilip Doshi, who passed away at the age of 77.

Dilip Doshi made his Test debut for India at the age of 32 in 1979 and went on to represent the nation in 33 Tests and 15 One-Day Internationals between 1979 and 1983. Known for his classical left-arm spin, he claimed 114 Test wickets, including six five-wicket hauls, and 22 ODI wickets.
Doshi was also a key figure in first-class cricket, where he accumulated an impressive 898 wickets from 238 matches, showcasing his exceptional skill and consistency.
