This role is responsible for managing the PCB's procurement activities to ensure cost-effective, timely and compliant acquisition of goods and services.
ABOUT PAKISTAN CRICKET BOARD
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is engaged in promoting and developing the game of cricket in Pakistan and maintaining general control of the game.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree from HEC recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in large or public sector organizations.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Strong knowledge of contract law, PPRA Rules and public sector procurement frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and document management tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High standards of ethics, transparency, and accountability.
- Proactive, organized and detail-oriented approach to multitasking.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and manage procurement and contracting strategies aligned with PCB's objectives. Manage sourcing, tendering, negotiation and contracting processes across diverse categories.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, PPRA Rules and applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Evaluate, negotiate and manage supplier and service contracts to ensure performance, value and risk mitigation.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts and vendor performance.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance and Operational teams to ensure alignment of contractual obligations with PCB's objectives.
- Maintain a central repository of all procurement and contract documents to ensure traceability and audit readiness.
