About this Role

We are seeking an exceptional Boys’ Cricket Performance Manager who shares our vision and has the expertise, energy and commitment to lead and further develop a sector-leading cricket programme.

Working at Hurst

Hurst is one of Britain’s leading independent schools, offering a vibrant and supportive environment for pupils and staff alike. With nearly 1,300 pupils across the Prep and Senior Schools, we combine academic ambition with a strong sense of community and a rich co-curricular programme. With Pennthorpe School now part of the Hurst family, it is an especially exciting time to join us.

Hurst is a place of genuine momentum. From the classroom to the sports field, theatre and boarding houses, life here is dynamic, diverse and deeply rewarding. Significant investment in sporting provision has created an outstanding performance environment, including high-quality strength and conditioning, medical and physiotherapy support, and exceptional facilities.

We are a community that pursues excellence not as a distant goal but as a daily standard. Those who thrive at Hurst bring ambition, resilience and commitment in equal measure to that which we expect of our pupils.

Set within a beautiful rural location, Hurst remains well connected: Brighton & Hove is just 20 minutes away, and London can be reached in under an hour by train.

This is more than a role, it is an opportunity to contribute to something ambitious and inspiring. For the right individual, there are few environments as exciting.
