Lead the Competitions That Grow the Game

Otago Cricket Association is one of New Zealand's six Major Associations, delivering cricket opportunities across Otago and Southland.

We are seeking an energetic and organised Manager – Dunedin Cricket to lead the delivery of competitions, representative and development cricket programme in Dunedin.

This role is central to creating positive cricket experiences for players, clubs, schools, volunteers and officials while supporting participation growth and player development pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all Dunedin Cricket competitions, including scheduling, grading, registrations and results.
  • Coordinate junior, youth, and senior representative programmes.
  • Build strong relationships with clubs, schools, coaches, umpires and volunteers.
  • Support governance, judicial, health and safety and competition administration requirements.
  • Lead competition communications, marketing and social media activity.

You will be:

  • Passionate about cricket and community sport.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident using technology, databases and digital platforms.
  • An effective communicator who enjoys working with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Energetic, proactive and solutions focused.
