Afghanistan to tour India for historic one-off Test and inaugural ODI series in June 2026

The Afghanistan National Cricket Team is scheduled to tour India for a one-off Test and three ODI matches in June this year.

The series will kick off with the Test match, scheduled to take place from June 6 to 10 at the New Chandigarh Cricket Ground.

The ODI series will commence on June 14 in Dharamshala with the following two matches scheduled for June 17 and 20 in Lucknow and Chennai, respectively.

This will be the second Test match between Afghanistan and India, while the tour will also mark the inaugural ODI series between the two teams.

Additionally, discussions are ongoing regarding a potential three-match T20I series, which is expected to be hosted by Afghanistan in the latter half of the year.
