Mumbai, June 6, 2025 — The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially opened the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for entities interested in providing digital services related to the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Women’s Premier League (WPL).
The RFP invites reputed digital service providers to acquire the rights and obligations to manage and support IPL and WPL Digital Properties. The document outlines detailed terms and conditions governing proposal submission and evaluation.
Key dates and RFP timeline
- Release of RFP: June 4, 2025
- Last date to seek clarifications: June 20, 2025
- Last date to purchase the RFP: June 25, 2025
- Submission deadline: July 7, 2025
The RFP document will only be shared upon confirmation of payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 2,95,000 (inclusive of GST for Indian entities) or USD 2,925 for foreign bidders. Payment details and procedures are outlined in Annexure A of the announcement.
Eligibility criteria for interested parties
As per Annexure B, entities must meet the following to qualify:
General eligibility
- Only the entity purchasing the RFP or one within the same group is eligible to submit a proposal.
- Payment of the RFP fee is mandatory and non-refundable.
Financial eligibility
- Entities must have an audited annual turnover exceeding INR 15 crore or foreign equivalent.
Technical eligibility
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience providing digital services, preferably in cricket or sports.
- Preferred experience includes interactive activations and broadcast integration features.
- Entities must provide specific case studies and sample APIs demonstrating broadcast integration.
How to purchase the RFP
Interested entities must follow the payment process in Annexure A. After payment, they should email confirmation with the subject line: “Confirmation of Payment of RFP Fee for Services Relating to IPL and WPL Digital Properties” to [email protected].
Important note: Purchasing the RFP does not automatically entitle a company to bid — eligibility is subject to criteria listed in the RFP document.
The BCCI reserves the right to cancel or amend the RFP process at any stage without assigning a reason.
