21 August 2025: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) inviting bids from reputed entities to provide photography and image licensing services for BCCI events and match coverage through a structured tender process.
Photography RFP covers match and non-match events
The selected entity will be responsible for providing comprehensive photography coverage and a searchable, licensed image database accessible to the BCCI and its partners. This includes both live match photography and archival image access for BCCI matches and non-match events.
The RFP process includes the following timeline:

Deadline to Seek Clarifications: August 29, 2025
Last Date to Purchase RFP: September 1, 2025
Proposal Submission Deadline: September 8, 2025
Fee and eligibility details
Interested parties must pay a non-refundable fee of INR 1,00,000 + GST (total INR 1,18,000) to obtain the RFP document. Foreign entities must pay USD 1,155. The RFP document will be shared only upon confirmation of payment and submission of the required details via email to [email protected].

Eligibility criteria: financial and technical
Financial Eligibility: Interested parties must have had an annual turnover exceeding:
INR 60 lakhs (if incorporated in India), or
USD 72,000 (if incorporated outside India)
Technical Eligibility: Minimum four years of experience in providing photography services to:
A recognised sports governing body (e.g., ICC, ACC)
A professional league recognised by such a body
A sports team participating in a recognised league
Preference will be given to cricket-related photography experience.
Other key technical requirements:
- Ownership or licensed access to a digital portal with searchable live and archival images
- Ability to cover matches at multiple venues simultaneously
Only the entity purchasing the RFP is eligible to bid, and purchasing the RFP does not automatically entitle the party to submit a Proposal — all eligibility conditions must be met.
The BCCI reserves the right to cancel or modify the RFP process at any stage without providing any reasons.
