Cricket Canada today announced that Mr. Salman Khan has been suspended with full pay and benefits from his role as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
“This step is non-disciplinary and has been taken solely to preserve the integrity of the organization and to ensure procedural fairness,” said Amjad Bajwa, President of Cricket Canada.
An independent special committee, working in consultation with the Executive Committee and external legal counsel, will conduct a comprehensive review.
Cricket Canada remains fully committed to its vision, mission, players, and to the communities and partners across the Canadian cricket ecosystem.
