Cricket NSW Chairman John Knox has issued the following statement:
“The Cricket NSW Board thanks Mike Baird AO for his service to Australian cricket.
“Mike’s passion and commitment to our game have been evident during his tenures with both the Cricket Australia and Cricket NSW Boards. We are grateful for his contribution across both organisations.
“We congratulate David Boon MBE on his elevation to Interim Chair and look forward to working with him and the Cricket Australia Board going forward.”
