JOHANNESBURG: Cricket South Africa (CSA) confirms that, following its annual governance compliance review, Boland Cricket and North West Cricket had not met the requirements for recognition as Members in Good Standing by 21 September 2026.
The CSA Members Council considered the status of all non-compliant members and resolved to enforce applicable sanctions under the CSA Memorandum of Incorporation in relation to participation in the 2026 Annual General Meeting.
Both affiliates were formally advised that their own Annual General Meetings needed to be concluded, and their audited Annual Financial Statements submitted ahead of the stipulated deadline.
Border and Northern Cape also remain not recognised as Members in Good Standing and their existing status remains unchanged.
CSA President, Rihan Richards said;
“We are committed to upholding consistent governance standards, accountability and the fair application of the MoI across all our members.
“The Members Council is of the view that while the decision may be perceived as punitive, it will drive member compliance to sound governance.”
