Cricket South Africa (CSA) and THIRSTI, the natural spring water brand, are pleased to announce a three-year partnership which will extend to key properties. THIRSTI started its natural spring water production at the end of 2015, and in a relatively short time achieved market listings in all major retailers throughout South Africa. With its iconic range of still, sparkling and flavoured natural spring water, as well as their vitamin-packed sports drink ISOFIT+, the partnership is fitting for both hydration and rehydration on and off the pitch.

Proteas Men, Proteas Women, SA A, SA u19 Women, SA u19 Men, National Academy Women, National Academy Men, and Protea Women National Camps are the CSA properties set to benefit from this partnership.

With a steadfast focus on sports sponsorships spanning multiple sporting codes, THIRSTI already partner with the Springboks, the Comrades Marathon, Supersport United Football Club, The Sharks, The Bulls, Nedbank Running Club and the ABSA Cape Epic.

Commenting on the partnership, CSA Chief Executive Officer, Pholetsi Moseki said:

“CSA is pleased to partner with a hydration outfit of such acclaim. THIRSTI is a compelling brand which has a strong focus on sport, and we are thrilled that they have cast their attention in our direction. This confirms cricket’s appeal as a formidable brand which continues to stand on its own. I thank THIRSTI for choosing to partner with us as we journey to position cricket as a powerful sport in South Africa. We are looking forward to a fulfilling and mutually beneficial three years.”

THIRSTI Managing Director Rob Hoatson believes that CSA has turned a corner and is steadfast in their ambition to reach new heights;

“Our love of cricket means that we have always kept our eye on the ball for such a sponsorship opportunity. When an invigorated and motivated management team approached us, we had no hesitation in partnering with an organisation that is wholeheartedly determined in ensuring that the sport is not only better than it’s ever been in our country, but is presented to the fans in a professional, passionate and patriotic manner inside and outside the boundary ropes.”
