England and Wales – The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has launched the 2025 Cricket Playing Survey, giving recreational players and volunteers a key opportunity to share their views and influence the future of grassroots cricket.

The survey, conducted annually, serves as a vital piece of market research to help the ECB and regional cricket bodies understand how cricket is being played, enjoyed, and how it can be improved to boost participation and satisfaction at all levels.

According to the ECB, feedback from the Cricket Playing Survey helps guide decisions by counties, leagues, and local clubs on everything from scheduling formats to facilities, coaching, and diversity initiatives.

Have your say on the future of cricket

Players and volunteers across England and Wales are encouraged to take part in the survey and provide feedback on how the sport is currently delivered and how it can evolve to meet their needs.

“Sharing your opinion helps shape how the game is run and ensures your voice is part of the decision-making process,” the ECB said in a statement.

Incentives for taking part

Participants will be entered into a prize draw with the chance to win:

  • England Men’s Test signed shirt
  • England Women’s IT20 signed shirt
  • England Men’s Test signed bat

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete, depending on your selections, and will remain open until Sunday, 24 August 2025.
