The tournament will distribute official match images exclusively through SmartFrame, while offering publishers a revenue-sharing model via embedded photography.

The third edition of the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League (GSL) returns to Guyana, featuring five T20 franchise teams competing for the tournament title and a US$1 million prize purse: Guyana Amazon Warriors (CPL), Lahore Qalandars (PSL), Desert Vipers (ILT20), Perth Scorchers XI (BBL), and San Francisco Unicorns (MLC). Official tournament photography will be made available to accredited media through SmartFrame, a licensed image-streaming platform.

Turning Coverage Into Revenue for Publishers

Beyond secure, high-performance access to official tournament imagery, SmartFrame’s model also benefits publishers directly. Outlets that opt into SmartFrame’s Publisher Program can embed images for free and are eligible to receive a share of revenue from in-image advertising served within them – SmartFrame brokers targeted, contextually relevant ad campaigns and splits net revenue equally with the publisher. Because ads are served briefly within the image frame only when it’s in view, this creates a non-intrusive revenue stream for media outlets covering the ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League, without requiring any additional licensing fees or complex agreements.

All official ExxonMobil Guyana Global Super League match photography will be distributed exclusively through SmartFrame, a secure image-hosting technology used widely across the sports and publishing industries. Media outlets wishing to use official tournament images must be aware of the following:

*Images are streamed, not downloaded. SmartFrame delivers images directly to a webpage using an embed code rather than a downloadable image file. There is no JPEG, PNG, or other file to save to a desktop or content management system.

*Publish via embed code. To use an image, copy the SmartFrame embed code provided alongside the image and paste it into your website’s HTML or text editor, in the location where the image should appear. Full instructions are available at www.smartframe.io/how-to-embed-smartframe-images.

*No local storage, screenshots, or screen-recording of images for republication. Because rights, credits, and usage tracking are managed by SmartFrame at the point of streaming, images may not be downloaded, saved, screenshotted, or otherwise extracted for separate use.

*Print and broadcast use. Outlets requiring images for print, broadcast graphics, or offline formats where embed codes cannot be used should contact the GSL media office directly to arrange access.

*Credit and captioning fields, including photographer credit and IPTC metadata, are preserved automatically within each SmartFrame embed and must not be removed or altered.
