PCB responds to second pitch invader during Champions Trophy

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the release of additional tickets for four key matches of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, reflecting the high anticipation surrounding the tournament.

Since 6th February, fans have been able to purchase 5,000 extra tickets each for Pakistan vs. New Zealand, Australia vs. England, and one of the semi-finals, along with 2,000 additional tickets for Pakistan vs. Bangladesh.

These tickets will be available online and at designated courier offices nationwide.

The decision follows overwhelming demand, particularly for Pakistan’s opener against New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi, where the hosts aim for a strong start. The Australia vs. England clash, featuring one of cricket’s most storied rivalries, is also expected to be a high-intensity encounter. Additionally, Lahore will host one of the tournament’s semi-finals, further heightening excitement.

With demand at an all-time high, the PCB urges fans to secure their tickets promptly, as sales will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The board also reminds online buyers to collect physical tickets, as entry without one will not be permitted.

As Pakistan hosts its first major ICC event since the 1996 World Cup, the release of extra tickets ensures more fans can witness world-class cricket firsthand. To avoid missing out, fans should stay updated via official PCB channels.
