HKCC provides a wide range of cricket playing opportunities across all ages and abilities through our established programmes coordinated by our professional coaching team and volunteers. Working alongside Cricket Hong Kong, China, the local governing body for cricket, we also provide opportunities within the local community through our school and charity programmes.
There are currently 6 competitive women and girls cricket teams – the HKCC Rebels (U11’s) the HKCC Blazers (U19’s) the HKCC Diamonds (Development League + Division 2), the HKCC Cavaliers (Division 2) and the HKCC Willow Wielders (Division 1).

Job Summary:
As a Women & Girls Cricket Coach within the Hong Kong Cricket Club, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cricket for women and girls. You will be responsible for driving cricket development programs, both within the club and in the wider community, working closely with schools and local organizations. Your efforts will help increase participation and engagement in cricket, fostering a love for the sport among young players. At HKCC, we believe in creating a positive and inclusive culture where every player can thrive and reach their full potential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point-of-contact for all women & girls cricket activities at HKCC
- Administer, monitor, promote, and evaluate cricket programs at the club
- Plan and deliver training sessions, and manage match days for competitive teams
- Conduct one-on-one training sessions with members
- Convert school participants into HKCC programs to boost team numbers
- Deliver ongoing programs for all our junior girls initiatives
- Maintain and develop year-round playing opportunities
- Assist in coaching junior teams and organize and participate in sports camps
- Collaborate with Cricket Hong Kong, China to deliver cricket in schools and the wider community
- Increase community engagement through innovative courses and festivals
- Maximize player involvement in Cricket Hong Kong, China performance programs
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum ECB Level 2 qualified cricket coach or equivalent
- Certified in DBS/Child Protection and First Aid
- Experience cricket coach or sports development professional
- Ability to develop and implement high-quality cricket coaching sessions
- Effective program management skills
- Innovative approach to community engagement and program development
- Experience working with a diverse range of players and staff
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Willingness to be a contributing player in club teams if appropriate
- Proficient in social media and marketing
