The International Cricket Council (ICC), alongside its 12 Full Member Boards, has officially launched an Expression of Interest (EOI) process aimed at identifying a visionary partner to develop and publish a landmark mobile cricket game.
This move represents a strategic milestone in the ICC’s digital engagement journey, uniting global cricket bodies to offer a single, unified opportunity for game developers and publishers to reimagine cricket fandom in the mobile gaming space.
ICC seeks transformative cricket game concept
The EOI process is open to qualified game developers, publishers, and gaming ventures who can deliver a mobile game that captures the global appeal and rich heritage of the sport. Shortlisted entities will proceed to a formal tender phase post-EOI review.
ICC Chairman Jay Shah emphasized the importance of this initiative:
“Cricket has one of the most passionate and diverse fanbases in global sport. This project represents a unique opportunity and step forward to reimagine how cricket is experienced and celebrated in the digital world.”
He added, “By bringing together the ICC and its Full Members, we are laying the foundation for a cricket game that engages the modern audience and reflects the global scale of our game.”
Submission deadlines and details
Interested organizations must request EOI documentation by 24 June 2025, with final submissions due by 27 June 2025. Queries and documentation requests should be emailed to [email protected].
The ICC encourages submissions from developers and companies capable of delivering an immersive and authentic cricket experience for a diverse global fanbase.
