Founded by Mitchell Starc, Alyssa Healy and Lisa Sthalekar, Corked Willow partners with House of Arras and Pete’s Pure to bring premium Australian wines to one of the world’s fastest-growing wine markets.

Three of Australia’s most respected names in cricket, Mitchell Starc, Alyssa Healy and Lisa Sthalekar have launched Corked Willow, a business dedicated to championing Australian wine in India by connecting premium Australian wineries with one of the world’s fastest-growing wine markets.

Acting as a bridge between Australia and India, Corked Willow leverages its network and local market knowledge to help Australian wineries build meaningful relationships with importers, hospitality partners and consumers. Through education, advocacy and strategic partnerships, the company is creating new opportunities for Australian producers to succeed in an increasingly sophisticated wine market.

Launching alongside Corked Willow is a flagship partnership with House of Arras, Australia’s most awarded sparkling wine producer. Crafted in Tasmania under the guidance of renowned Chief Winemaker Ed Carr, House of Arras has earned worldwide acclaim for its commitment to traditional method sparkling wine. In 2026, the winery achieved a historic milestone when one of its sparkling wines received 100 points from Robert Parker Wine Advocate, the first Australian sparkling wine to receive the coveted score.

Corked Willow will proudly represent House of Arras in India, introducing one of Australia’s finest sparkling wines to new audiences while showcasing the craftsmanship and innovation that define Australian winemaking.

Alongside House of Arras, Corked Willow is also working with Pete’s Pure, the signature wine label of Duxton Vineyards. Already available in India, Pete’s Pure represents the accessible side of Australian wine, and Corked Willow will work closely with the brand to further strengthen its presence and reach across the market.

Together, House of Arras and Pete’s Pure reflect Corked Willow’s philosophy that exceptional Australian wine should be available for every occasion. From celebrating life’s biggest moments with world-class sparkling wine to enjoying an approachable bottle at the end of the day.

“Great wine isn’t just about labels, it’s about connection. We believe Australian wine has a remarkable story to tell, and Corked Willow exists to help share that story with India through trusted partnerships, education and experiences that make wine accessible, enjoyable and a little less intimidating.”

Corked Willow combines a passion for Australian wine with an extensive network spanning sport, business and hospitality. While curated tastings and exclusive events will support the brand, the company’s primary focus is helping Australian wineries build lasting relationships and sustainable growth in the Indian market.

As Corked Willow expands, it will continue partnering with leading Australian wineries that represent the diversity, quality and innovation of Australian winemaking, creating new pathways for producers to reach wine lovers across India.
