Vaibhav Sooryavanshi‘s endorsement value has risen sharply following his remarkable IPL 2026 campaign, with brands increasingly seeking partnerships with the teenage batting sensation. According to a report by Sports NDTV and The Economic Times, the 15-year-old’s commercial appeal has climbed significantly after a season that established him as one of the most talked-about players in the tournament.

The Rajasthan Royals youngster enjoyed a historic campaign, scoring 776 runs in 16 matches at a strike rate of 237.30. His season included a century, five half-centuries and a record 72 sixes, surpassing Chris Gayle’s previous IPL benchmark of 59 sixes in a single season. The performances earned him the Orange Cap, Emerging Player award, Most Valuable Player honours, Super Striker recognition and the Most Sixes award.

Endorsement demand gathers pace

Sooryavanshi’s rise on the field has translated into growing interest from advertisers across multiple sectors, including sports nutrition, beverages, cricket equipment and performance footwear. Industry observers believe the teenager’s combination of age, profile and results has made him one of the most attractive emerging figures in the Indian sports marketing landscape.

Before IPL 2026, Sooryavanshi had already secured endorsement agreements reportedly valued at around INR 1 crore (approx. US$104K) per deal. However, those figures are now being reassessed following his breakout season.

Discussing the change in market value, an Anonymous Industry Expert, speaking to NDTV on condition of anonymity, said: “Before the IPL, he had signed with a few brands in the price range of Rs 1 crore, but now he is looking at Rs 1.5 to 2 crore for endorsements. He did the deals in the range of Rs 1 crore with Complan and Red Bull. That’s the approximate price range, but now he is looking at 1.5 to 2 crore.”

Why brands are moving quickly

The surge in interest is being driven not only by Sooryavanshi’s performances but also by the long-term potential brands see in associating with a player at the beginning of his career. Companies are increasingly looking to secure relationships early rather than waiting for athletes to become established international stars.

Explaining the trend, one Executive told The Economic Times: “Brands are queuing to sign him for first-mover advantage — he has a long career ahead of him — and there is also a vacuum among bankable Indian cricketers at the moment, with some big names failing to perform. Also, unlike earlier, when deals ran for 3–5 years, brands now prefer 2–3-year contracts so they can reassess based on form.”

The Economic Times report also noted that several brands are exploring shorter agreements that provide flexibility while allowing companies to capitalise on the growing popularity of emerging athletes.

Balancing commercial opportunities

Despite the rapid rise in his market value, Sooryavanshi remains at the beginning of his professional journey. His commercial activities are currently overseen by his family, while Rajasthan Royals are also understood to be supporting efforts to manage his growing public profile.

Addressing how future endorsement discussions could develop, the Marketing Head of a Brand in Talks with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s Family told The Economic Times: “His fees, at about INR 50 lakh per deal, may increase to the INR 1 crore-plus bracket, but that will depend on negotiations and how much exposure his family is comfortable with, considering his age.”

The teenager has already appeared in campaigns for Complan and Google Pay, while additional brands continue to evaluate opportunities to work with one of Indian cricket’s fastest-rising young talents.

Focus shifts beyond the IPL

With the IPL season now complete, Sooryavanshi’s attention is set to return to representative cricket. He has been included in the India A squad for the upcoming one-day tri-series in Sri Lanka involving Afghanistan A, while his performances have also fuelled discussion about a potential pathway into India’s T20I setup.

For now, the teenager’s record-breaking IPL season is delivering rewards both on and off the field, with his growing endorsement portfolio reflecting the scale of excitement surrounding one of cricket’s most promising young stars.
