Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has taken a significant step to boost the board’s revenue by declining the exclusive VIP box allocated to him for the Champions Trophy matches in Dubai. Instead, he has chosen to watch the games from the general enclosure.
Naqvi was offered a VIP box with 30 seats, valued at $400,000, but he refused to accept it. Instead, he instructed that the box be sold, with the proceeds benefiting the PCB.
Committed to financial discipline and transparency, Naqvi has been actively working to strengthen the PCB’s financial standing. He has already rejected free passes for officials, further underscoring his efforts to ensure financial responsibility within Pakistan cricket.
