Sussex County Cricket Club is the oldest of the eighteen first-class county clubs in England and Wales, representing the historic county of Sussex. Founded in 1839, the club succeeded various Sussex teams, including the old Brighton Cricket Club. Known for its limited-overs team, the Sussex Sharks, the club has held first-class status continuously and has competed in the County Championship since its inception in 1890, as well as every top-level domestic cricket competition in England.

An exciting new opportunity for an Apprentice Groundsperson has arisen in the Grounds team at Sussex Cricket.

This will provide the successful candidate with experience in producing some of the best pitches in domestic cricket as well as gaining experience of all forms of wicket preparation and the day-to-day maintenance of first-class playing surfaces.
