Cricket Australia has announced the full Weber WBBL|11 schedule, setting the stage for 35 days of high-impact cricket action featuring the world’s top players, marquee matchups, and primetime fixtures across the country.

The season will launch with an opening triple-header featuring a WBBL|10 Final rematch between the Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Renegades, plus historic rivalries and star power in every match. It’s the third consecutive season that Adelaide Oval will host the Strikers under lights, and the Grand Final will take place on Saturday, December 13.

Opening weekend: triple-header kick-off

The season begins with back-to-back matches:

  • Brisbane Heat vs Melbourne Renegades – a replay of last season’s Final
  • Sydney Thunder vs Hobart Hurricanes – at Allan Border Field
  • Perth Scorchers vs Sydney Sixers – at the WACA, featuring Beth Mooney vs Ellyse Perry

All eight clubs will be in action over the first two days, including Melbourne Stars vs Adelaide Strikers at CitiPower Centre, making for a fast-paced start to the league.

Prime fixtures and fan-first scheduling

This season is carefully structured to maximize fan attendance and TV viewership:

  • WBBL matches to bookend each day of the opening three days of the NRMA Insurance Ashes Test
  • West Fest showdown returns November 22: Scorchers vs Strikers at WACA
