The Adelaide Strikers confirm the re-signings of Alex Price, Tegan McPharlin, Ellie Falconer and Annie O’Neil ahead of rebel WBBL|06.

Wicketkeeper-batter McPharlin is the fourth-highest for dismissals in the WBBL with 46 from 62 matches, and is a dependable batter.

The experienced right-hander and inaugural Striker has made 328 runs from 35 digs, typically batting at no.7.

Fan-favourite Price will again add variety with her off-spin bowling and morale-boosting antics both on the fielding microphone and around the group.

Price, also a foundation member of the Strikers, missed only the one match last summer, conceding just 62 runs.

O’Neil, a right-hand batter and handy leg-spin bowler, has featured three times for the Strikers but was not required to bat or bowl.

Falconer is yet to make her Big Bash debut but her work ethic and pace bowling adds depth to a potent Strikers attack.

All four are also Statewide Super SA Scorpions.

Strikers Head Coach Luke Williams is proud to keep a South Australian nucleus.

“It’s great that we’ve been able to again secure Alex, Tegan, Ellie and Annie who are also part of SA’s Scorpions squad and have each had a solid pre-season to date.

“We’ve got a great mix of local and marquee talent and we’re excited with how the squad is shaping up.”

The Strikers also announced the re-signing of Sarah Coyte this week.
